Real infrastructure.
Not just tutorials.
ProjectV6 funds and hands out the real thing: IPv6-only VPS, tunnel broker access, LIR and ASN sponsorship. Not another simulator or write-up. Nothing below is live yet, and it won't be until we're holding twelve months of operating costs in reserve.
Not live yet, still saving up for that reserve. Fiscally sponsored by Hack Club HCB (EIN 81-2908499).
IPv6-Only VPS
No IPv4 fallback, on purpose. Most "learn networking" setups let you dodge IPv6 the moment something's inconvenient. This box removes that exit, so DNS, routing, firewalling, and everything you run has to actually work over IPv6.
Tunnel Broker
Your ISP probably still hasn't shipped native IPv6. A tunnel broker routes you a real IPv6 prefix over the IPv4 connection you already have, the same trick community tunnel services have run for decades. Free, here.
LIR Sponsorship
Owning address space means joining your Regional Internet Registry as a full member, priced for ISPs, not people. We cover that membership so individuals can hold and route their own IP space.
ASN Sponsorship
Speaking BGP and announcing your own routes needs an Autonomous System Number. Registration and annual fees are the only real barrier; sponsorship removes it.
Documentation
Provisioning the VPS, standing up a tunnel, filing for LIR membership, announcing a prefix: written down, free, independent of whether you use anything else here.
Help us hit the reserve.
ProjectV6 launches services once we're holding twelve months of operating costs. Donations are what gets us there. No subscriptions, no catch: just the infrastructure, once it's funded.
